<p>Yes, that's right.  The older uploads would still be referenced from the original location.  To move them you'd need to either re-upload them or write a script to do it manually.  No easy way to migrate uploads between folders, unfortunately.</p>

          <description><![CDATA[<p>I have a section that includes a file upload field. The section has existed for awhile and has numerous records, and uploaded file. And those files currently upload to the main /uploads directory. But now I would like to change the location of these uploads to a custom directory.</p>
<p>I assume if I make this change, the previously uploaded files won't move automatically, correct? Is there a way for me to move them? </p>
