Hi,

In a nutshell .. I created a new template (based on the article manager articlePage.html template - I just removed what wasn't needed and added in what I wanted) and placed it in the articlePages directory (I called the template sitepages.html).

In the publishing rules section, I copied the article pages rule and changed it to a new one for sitepages. When doing this, make sure to select the category filter at the bottom to only include the sitepages directory so that the pages generated do not show up on your article listings.

Paula

Thanks Ross. I have tried this - my categories are showing as unlinked but yet the articles still show up on my GlobalIndex page. See: http://www.abcn.ca - the site map should not be there?

Thanks :)

paula

Thank you, that did the trick. I had originally removed the entire embedded media section but this worked just fine. For the category pages it seems to used the common/embedded file. Will the same type of edit work for that too?

Thanks so much,

Paula

Hi there,

On our global index page, and category index pages we have an image beside each article. It comes from the summary. We have a new layout that requires no images and need to edit all of the older articles to remove these. Is there an easy way to not display these images without going into every article (over 500)?

Thanks :)

paula
