In a nutshell .. I created a new template (based on the article manager articlePage.html template - I just removed what wasn't needed and added in what I wanted) and placed it in the articlePages directory (I called the template sitepages.html).

In the publishing rules section, I copied the article pages rule and changed it to a new one for sitepages. When doing this, make sure to select the category filter at the bottom to only include the sitepages directory so that the pages generated do not show up on your article listings.

If you could cancel my support request, I found the answer.

I checked the GlobalIndex publishing rule and used the exclude file feature to block them. [shocked]

I was wondering if you found a solution to your problem?

I too would liek to block static content in a hidden category from appearing on the Global Index and what not.

On our global index page, and category index pages we have an image beside each article. It comes from the summary. We have a new layout that requires no images and need to edit all of the older articles to remove these. Is there an easy way to not display these images without going into every article (over 500)?
