Can you go into more detail about what demo settings you lost? Do you just need to switch it back into demo mode? That's done via the settings.dat.php file in the /data/ directory. See this page for more details:

It's correct. :) Looks like when it was updated, they forgot to update the version number in the zip file. I compared the download to the "official" 1.02, and they're identical save for the version number.

Thanks for catching that -- I'll get that updated on the site as well. (Or, you can just change the version number to 1.02 manually so you know it's the right one.)

Yes, the backup restore would restore everything in the database. There's currently no revision tracking, but it's something that has been asked for before, so it's on the list of possible future updates. :)

Hi Nigel,

Yep, that's exactly what you should expect to happen. A lot of programs (including CMS Builder, not to mention all of our legacy programs) use your server path to determine where files are located -- your host should have let you know before changing your paths so that you could update your site accordingly *before* everything broke!

Glad to hear you got that figured out, let us know if there are any residual errors you can't track down!

That's pretty odd -- that might actually be something you want to file a support request (or even a bug report) with Dreamweaver over. Since it's only happening on that one site, that sounds like a Dreamweaver issue to me!

Hi Duches77!

It looks like you removed the title field, but didn't remove it from the filenameField or titleField. You'll find those in the top section of the section editor. To find them, try this:

In your section editor, modify the section giving you the error (in this case, it looks like the phone_directory section.)

At the top of the page, under "General", look for "ListPage Fields". Make sure "title" isn't in there.

Then, click Viewer URLs, and look for "Filename Fields". Make sure "title" isn't there either.

What's happening here is that CMS Builder is attempting to display the title field in other places -- in the URL of your detail pages, and on the page where you add new content for example. So if you delete the title field, it doesn't know what to show there and is going to give you an error. This just means that you need to make sure you remove any other references to the title field.
