Hi there!
I'm trying to code two different font styles (green and red), for two different errorAndAlert messages. The code is:

$errorsAndAlerts .= "Message here
";

and I'm not sure how to name the second message to have a different

style

Can I use an image file rather than a text message? I'm not sure on the coding. Thanks for the help!

Hi there!
I am having the same issue on one of my client's sites that is hosted at NetFirms. I've updated the paths in my PHP pages but it is still calling the wrong path:

http://www.trotwoodfarm.com/horsesforsale.php

The site is still looking in: /hermes/bosweb/web142/b1420/nf.trotwoodfarm/public_html

(Program Directory in CMS is listed as: /hermes/bosweb/web142/b1420/nf.trotwoodfarm/public_html/cmsAdmin )

but the path that their server support sent to them is :

/home/users/web/b1420/nf.trotwoodfarm/public_html

This might be a server/hosting issue - I just wanted to doublecheck and make sure there's nothing on this side that can be done - outside of updating the PHP paths.

"Invalid username or password" for all accounts

Hi there!
I have the sample_login.php page uploaded for a new client and I've tried testing different types of user accounts but all are returning with a
"Invalid username or password" error.

Is the Membership Plugin 1.01 not compatible with the newest version of CMS (2.09). That's the only thing I could think of that was different with this set-up. Please let me know - thanks!

Displaying Different Sections on One Page: Using Multi-Field Value Lists

Hi there!
I've been reading a lot of posts on topics similar to this, and the examples in the CMS cookbook, but everything's a little too specific, and I was hoping to get a good basic but definitive answer that could be tailored to fit all styles of pages.

I have a multi Record newsletter Detail style page that I would like to have display various content (list style) from other multi Record sections (ie: Articles, Events).

I'm using the multi-value dropdown list option to sort content into applicable newsletters. The dropdown menu displays the dates of all newsletters available - so you can choose to have an article or event display on several different newsletters. I'm just not sure how to call the code that says "Display events for Newsletter only"

Does that code go in the initial 'Load Records' section, or is it separate (because it is a List, and the page it's in is a Detail)? Is the code different for standard dropdown menu choices, as opposed to multi-value dropdown menus?

Thanks so much for the help! I'm hoping this is a fairly simple set-up, that can then be re-worked for other "Display Content A on Page B" types of pages.

Hi Jason - Thanks! Here is the file - the ForEach statement starts at Line 498 through 578. The record 'home_page_features' is where the 1 through 8 value should go. Let me know if you need any other info!

Hi there!
I am working with a horizontal glider widget that will create a new panel for the last 8 news records posted. I was going to use the 'num' field so that each panel had a dynamically generated ID, but it looks like the panels have to be in numerical order, starting with one.

I added in a drop-down menu as a temporary fix with 1 through 8 as values, but that requires the last 8 articles to be updated every time a new one is posted. I thought there must be something that could automatically generate those values? I just wasn't sure where to start!

Hi there!

I have a client who would like to have a drop-down menu for states, and then the second drop-down menu would display counties for that state? (Similar to a set of Make / Model drop-downs) Nothing fancy (I think =) Is this effortlessly easy through CMS and I'm totally missing how to do it? Or does it take some back-end coding?

Hi there!

This might be an easy one to solve, but I haven't seen anything like this on the boards. When I activate the Website Membership Plug-In, all of the web pages have the following error above the CMS content:

Warning: session_start(): Cannot send session cache limiter - headers already sent (output started at /www/kzooymca.org/htdocs/index.php:120) in /www/kzooymca.org/htdocs/cmsAdmin/lib/init.php on line 74

Is there something I should edit in the plug-in from trying to re-send headers? I wasn't sure what was causing this and how to troubleshoot - thanks!

Hi there!
I have a database of members in a directory, and I'm looking to display members with the three closest birthdays on a sidebar (see attached screenshot). I'm not sure how to compare today's date to the birthdays in the database - I have it displaying birthdays in date order currently, and the list begins with January 1.

PHP Question: Multiple Recipients in Form - One Dynamic

I was hoping someone might be able to help me out - I'm looking for the PHP code that would allow multiple recipients to receive a form submission. The form is a work order and the recipients would be a static email address, and the address of the person who submitted it. Currently the code is:if ($id == 'battlecreek') {
$recipient = 'workorderbc@hinmancompany.com';

and I need to add in the dynamic address field: $_POST['Email']

I haven't been able to find anything like this on any forums or PHP sites - I've tried a dozen different combinations of commas and semi-colons, and I'm sure i'm just putting the wrong punctuation in the wrong place. Any help would be terrific - thanks for your time!

Certain WYSIWYG Fields no longer Saving

Hi there!

I have a site that has been running CMS since April, and within the last couple of days, certain WYSIWYG fields have just stopped saving. It looks as though text fields/boxes still work fine, but any changes made to a WYSIWYG field, after you click save, just disappear and the content reverts back to the way it was. Has anyone ever had this happen? I sent an email to server support to see if any changes had been made to the server the site is on - but I'm wondering if its a CMS issue, since only some fields were having this problem.

Hi Dave -

Not sure if I'm dropping this in correctly - should I cut and paste everything (including the // 's?)? If I drop everything in as is, I get an "unexpected $end" error (and everything looks commented out in Dreamweaver).

If I remove the //'s, I get a ":" found error. I removed the // Vars: $1 = filepath, $2 = height, $3 = width section, in case that was supposed to be commented out, but now it looks like the file I started with and I'm sure it's because I didn't do it right and took half the code out trying to troubleshoot. =)

Hi Dave - Thanks! This would help a ton! Here is the code generated by Dreamweaver when I drop in a Flash Video :

{Clear_Skin_1.swf and FLVPlayer_Progressive.swf are generated files that can be added anywhere (Uploads, Main Directory). Probably the values I'd need replaced are the ones you've listed: the file name, width, and height. Everything else is good as is! I've also posted the code that the WYSIWYG panel generates for SWF files, following the Dreamweaver code}
