Hi, Greg.

My client is having the same problem. I was having this issue, so I followed the steps in the advice you posted and I can see the wysiwyg fields in Firefox, but not IE (running on Windows XP Professional). I then tried deleting the tiny_mce folder and replacing it with a more recent version. That solved the problem for me, but my client still can't see any wysiwyg fields in either browser, running on Windows 7. (When I click on the HTML icon in FF, I just get a blank, grey window without a field).

Any suggestions, please?

I've been trying to follow the link you posted for a few days, but the site seems to be down. Do you know of any other reference points for the jquery cycle plugin, please? I've tried Googling it, but I can't find an easy-to-understand site that has the plugin download and a recipe for implementing it.

A couple of follow-up questions:

1. I know it isn't possible to import email addresses, etc, but is it possible to export them as an Excel file?

2. I have a client who is interested in both your membership and newsletter add-ons. Can they be combined, so people only need to sign-up with one form, for both membership and the newsletter, at the same time? If so, is this quite straightforward, or will it involve commissioning Interactive Tools?

I have this photo gallery on a client's site, which is controlled via CMSB: http://www.lilieswhite.com/gallery.php and http://www.lilieswhite.com/galleryDetails.php?Weddings-4.

Does anyone know of a recipe for creating a gallery that works more like this? http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/in-pictures-20001851. I like my index page, but I'd prefer to show the first image as a large picture with scrollable thumbnails underneath. Any suggestions, please?

I have a Canadian client who would like to have two versions of their site, English and French. Of course, this will mean the same two languages for their newsletter.

Is it possible to have two separate subscription forms, one for each language? How about sending the correct language version of the newsletter to people depending on which language version of the site where they subscribed?

I have an index page that links properly to the first item on the list, but then can't find anything else on the list.

That just displays the video embedding code on the page, not the video itself. I used a wysiwyg field, clicked on the HTML icon, then pasted the video code. That should convert the code into the embedded video, but doesn't. The code works if I place it onto the page manually with an HTML editor, so I'm assuming the problem isn't with the code itself.

Brightcove video code snippet keeps disappearing

Whenever I copy and paste some Brightcode video code into the HTML window of a wysiwyg field, it allows me to save it, but when I view the live page, the video dosn't appear. Then, when I go back to the CMSB page, most of the code snippet has disappeared, and only a portion of it remains. Any idea why this might be? The video appears if I drop into place manually.

Hi, All.

In the wysiwyg window, I'm highlight text and click the link icon to make the text clickable, type in the url (or copy and paste it), then click save. The selected text is formatted as a link, but the url disappears, so there isn't a working link.

Any idea why, please?

Thanks for taking the time to go into so much detail, Jerry. I've done a handcoded version of the slideshow, and that works perfectly in IE, so there's definitely a problem with how I adapted the code for CMSB.

I'm going to look into your solution next week and I'll post any solutions here.

The slideshow is based on this code from Dynamic Drive: http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex14/fadeinslideshow.htm. I can see the demo works okay in IE, so something has gone wrong with my adaptation for CMSB.
