Is there a way to show only future events in the CMS editor? I can show them correctly in the output, but can I sort to show only current/future dates in a date DESC order inside the CMS? Thanks for any help.

The ModSecurity is disabled, but Form Generator won't show the code, just stays on that page with no errors. Does have this in header each time I load. Checking for database schema updates... (initiated by plugin: csvImport_functions.php:313)

When I try to use form generator on a HostGator server ( V 3.76, PHP 8.3) I get this error:

Not Acceptable!

An appropriate representation of the requested resource could not be found on this server. This error was generated by Mod_Security.

I asked HostGator to remove the Mod_Security as I found in a forum post but I'm stilll getting that error. I noticed I appeared to be using version 1.1, but on downloading the newer 1.2 version it still says 1.1 in the listing.

Does the form generator still work? And is there something I shoudl try?

Ordering Multiple Uploads

I have asked something similar before, but is there a way to display multiple uploads and order them numerically or alphabetically? In the old flash uploader images stayed in order but now they upload and do not stay in order. I post photographs of sports, people and other jobs that need to display in the order they were photographed. Thanks for any suggestions.

This instance is on our in-house linux web sever (V 3.52 on older PHP - 7.18), and it happened after a power failure that lasted past our battery backup. So I'm not that concerned about this case, but wondered what the cause could be.

This has also happened at least twice on GoDaddy servers over the past few years. Always rather easy to fix, just wanted to see if a know cause.

Anyone know the reason that the database settings in settings.dat.php would suddenly go blank? This happened again today, and it's about the 4th time it has happened over the years, and all on different servers. I could restore easy enough by re-entering credentials, but still don't know why or how it has happened.

Yes - we upload photography previews for clients, and it is a pain for them to compare images when they are pushed around. Ideally, like the flash uploader (which always worked perfectly), they would be shown just as sorted during uploads...img01, img02, img03, etc. We sometimes have thousands of numbered previews on some jobs, so manual sorting after upload, which I do now on small or important jobs, is impractical. We continue to use it and it is not a serious issue, more of an annoyance. I'd guess others may have an issue with this at some point, but that was my reason for checking.

Thank you. A few tests worked well, but then issues appeared. In some cases it didn't help order files. In other cases it renamed the files completely, making it a bit "less than useful". I will check further before writing it off - at least the idea is what I am after.

I upload many proof images to my (photography) site, and in the past with the Flash uploader the images uploaded in the order intended. Since flash has gone, the HTML uploader works quickly, but does not keep the images in order. Does anyone know of a way around this?

Is there a way to add parentCategory functionality (as in sample section generator) to an existing section? I need to list many variants of different prodcuts that will have unique images, description and pricing and this could work. Or is there a better way to do this? I'm not sure what to search the form for to find this.

503 Error on trying to install on HostWinds server

Thank you, Dave. Had already removed those files and checked PHP (V7.0.33) with no luck. Error log only shows 503 error now. Have reached out to Hostwinds support as I"ve tried everything from a bare-bones install to a restore, all with same issue. Will let you know if we resolve.

Does anyone have any specific workarounds to install CMSB on HostWinds server? I've tried normal install, disabling the .ini files and several different permissions settings. It appears to install about 5 database fields and then crashes with a 503 error.

Thanks for confirming what I was seeing inside Yahoo, and reading in other places. I'll advise client to move from Yahoo, as I have already found many of these same issues right from the start.

As you mentioned, I would have been much better off not starting there in the first place.

Can you help me out as to why the layout of the CMS may have become garbled and hard to work with. It looks like a CSS issue, it creates a "double" header to the page and throws off all the rest of the display .

To try to correct, I uploaded a new version of the CMS with no data and it looked perfect, but as soon as I added the schema files, plugins and uploads it went bad again. You can see part of the issue even before logging in at: http://tucsonohio.com/cmsb/admin.php. I can provide login if it helps.

This may be specific since we are a photo studio. I love using CMSB to display our onine proofs, provide images to clients, etc. However, is there a size limit for the uploads, or perhaps just in generating thumbnails? I can't get uploaded images larger than about 5000pixels to work. Anything below that works fine, and uploading without creating a thumbnail (files or images) seems to work to quite large sizes.

Is there a workaround for this? Or something I can have done through consulting?
