So I needed to create an .xml file with the following info and save as crossdomain.xml and place it in the same folder as the .xml file for the slideSho... resides. You can get a much more detailed description from the link above, but apparently, SlideShoPro serches for this crossdomain.xml file. I dont know why they just dont include it as a file to upload.

Hey Guys me again (your worst nightmare),

I have Slide Show Pro working really well and want to thank you all for helping me get this off the ground. Though it works well in Internet Explorer I cant seem to get it to work in Fire Fox. I have cleared all cache and still the same problem.

I have a featured listings page at http://smoaklandco.com/ds_featured.php

I have used the record number provided by the system to number each listing. I was thinking that the record numbers would be refreshed some how. If you take a look at the link you would understand.

If you delete the first listing (record 'num" 1), the next listing wil be record "num" 2 which I have displayed on each listing. The number 2 does not change to number 1 after number 1 is deleted, which makes perfect sence to me, the more I think about it I think it cant be done without messing with MYSQL.

What do you think?

That just takes away all my listings because the original listing (record 1) was deleted and replaced by what is now record number 4.

You see, I had started off with 3 listings as a test ( #1, 2, 3). Now my client added listing number 4,5,6... and so on, so I deleted the origional listings (1,2,3). But the listings now start at # 4 not begin at #1 record number.

That did the trick. I have a problem with my record numbers not refreshing on the featured listings page. If one record is deleted it allways starts with the next number. So if record # 3 is deleted it starts at #4. Is there a way to have it show #1?

Hi Dave and thanks for your reply,

2. When a user clicks on a featured listing only one marker shows.

3. I had allready attempted to remove the where, limit and custom but all markers show. When I added the 'where' =>"feature="(1)"' it didnt work and I also tried 'featured="(1)"' along with 'num = "(1)"'.

4. The way, I think you have it but I could be wrong, seems like it is only manually generating a specific data, is the way you have it coming up dynamically because that is what I think I need.

5. my .xml.php files display the correct single marker if I type in the specific url www.smoaklandco.com/location_detail.xml.php?4 or 5 or 6.....

I appologize for any confusion, but I sure appreciate any help you offer

Hi

Working with Google Maps. I have worked the .xml to output to my featured listings page and shows all properties on a map very well. For the detail page I have a map but allways shows the first record on the map only. How can I get it to show specific data for specific file?

Here is my .xml code:

Hello all again.....

I have CMS latest version and in the middle of creating a site for a realtor. I have a featured listings page http://smoaklandco.com/ds_featured.php which almost displays fine. I had some records or listings in there previously that I had deleted and added more, however the record number starts at 4 instead of 1.

Absolutly fantastic!!!!!!!

You have made me so happy and I was going crazy and I knew we were so close. I was sure this was going to be something I had to corect and try a differant approach. I will definatly use this for future projects.

There should be a tutorial on this, what a learning experiance. Thanks very much.

Did you get my FTP info?

I was fussing about in Fire Fox and couldnt work out why the display was all off. Because of the dark background I noticed this at the top left hand corner: 'custom', 'perPage' => '10', )); ?> \n"; ?> . Its as if almost broken code. Could this be possible. This is only displayed in my "local" browser, not shown on live server. Does not show in IE7.

Wow...Thanks for the input, thought you all were off on the weekend? I spent most of the weekend studying the user manual myself, trial and error and without success.

I had allready emailed the program author and he showed me where the documentation was you suggested. So I had allready had attempted what you had suggested except adding in the .php in the flash code. I also made the adjustments to the .fla (my_ssp.xmlFilePath=xmlfile;) as well as naming the instance.

You know if we get this working this would make a great tutorial for CMS since I was unable to find history.

I even studied most of your forum and tried some other adjustments. Its all working just for some reason not pulling up the pics. I can pull up the idividual .xml files and it lists the pics. Its got to be the way it is coded on the .xml.php

My .xml.php code:

I know I am almost there. When I check out the xml.php page the actual images show http://www.smoaklandco.com/images.xml.php?3, http://www.smoaklandco.com/images.xml.php?32, http://www.smoaklandco.com/images.xml.php?1 .

There has to be something in this code. I am wondering if it has to do with the header since I am getting this before the images "Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/content/s/m/o/smoaklandco/html/images.xml.php:3) in /home/content/s/m/o/smoaklandco/html/images.xml.php on line 3" . with line 3 being the header? I checked out the documentation with SlideShowPro and it says that the cms is to generate the .xml.

Ok. I have got thr slideshowpro and loaded it on to the server and it is working www.smoaklandco.com/ds_detail.php. Of course it is not showing the other listings images independently because I know now that we are going to have to add code. It is now generated from "images.xml" code as follows:

In my flash movie (slide show) it is designated to this file "images.xml". I know we are at least going to have to change file extensions. And I did try to do it myself with code I researched in your forum but without success.

I did check out the individual .xml.php code when I was testing and still got the same old results by viewing the code eg. ds_detail.xml.php?1 etc..

I have now set everything back to normal. What shall I do next?

This is the action script in the flash movie in the first part which calls the xml url. Yes I did check and the differant .xml.php1, 2 and 3 with the amount of images show up and they are all differant, "Good". Just not comming through the flash. Well I figured out my problem with images. I had the height and width reversed. Duh....

Any way stil have the problem with individual listings. The same photos from record 1 comes up for all records.... I hope there is an answer out there, certainly hope you can help.

Wow,

This has turned int to a "project" LOL.

1. ds_gallery.swf ( http://smoaklandco.com/ds_gallery.swf ).

I added the record # to the end of the .xml/php files and yes I can see the image data except for " http://www.smoaklandco.com/data.xml.php?3 " I get a javascript alert error saying "The XML source file is unavailable for viewing".

2. I will work on changing my sizes. I have allready deleted and re uploaded. I will try again.

3. Strange??? I am working in IE7 the pictures come up but I still have the same problem "same Pictures for all records". All the records pull the pictures fromm record # 1. I did manage to get them all to work in FireFox but you had to refresh 3-4 times. But stillsame two pics, should be differant for each record, yes...
