Right now my actual blog (facebook comments) is not recognizing each post as it's own page.  So when I click on the first post for ex. and write testing 123 etc., that same comment will show up for every post.  ex. I go to the details page on the next post, and the same comments are there from other pages.  I went in and changed the FB code, but still no change.  It's not much of a blog if the comments are not specific to each article.  I've used FB comments on other websites with CMS Builder and have not had this problem.  Any thoughts on what the issue might be?

here is my block of code for displaying images on my homepage:

I have been at this all day :(  I managed to get the details page working (for first record) fine when you go directly to it in URL.  http://enlightenthesoul.com/full_story.php

However when I click on Back to List link I get the following pop-up window:  Set List Page Url for this section in: Admin > Section Editors > ETS Blog > Viewer Urls

When I click on blog page I get the following error:  Parse error: syntax error, unexpected $end in /home/enlig124/public_html/blog.php on line 227

I have combed through this several times and cannot see where the problem has occurred.  In need of some assistance from the pros!

I can't for the life of me get my pictures to display.  I've tried (what seems like) everything and still nothing.  There are no errors showing up in the code and still they do not display.  Below is the code I used for one picture on the about.php page:

I've also tried:

Neither of these work.  Can someone please shed some light on the subject?

Thanks for the replies :) I'm in finals right now and have been super swamped; not able to respond too quickly. 

I see that the WYSIWYG is none too popular...I can definitely switch to text boxes/fields (in some), however it seems weird that the WYSIWG is still defaulting <p> tags, even when I put the info. directly in the html editor.  It also seems as though the WYSIWG is not something that a client can really use now.  I threw the CMS together quickly and went wild on the WYSIWG editors, however can go back and change to a usual format.  But in the past, I've used the WYSIWG editors in certain areas and have not had this spacing problem.  It's nice for the clients to use b/c of how friendly the interface is.

& - when I use use text fields can i insert </br> tags right in the input field so that the text displays properly? 

I will look more closely at this and give it a go.  I understand how to convert the pages, I just didn't see the header code for the full record page.  maybe I missed it.

also, any thoughts on the pagination code?

Yes, I usually use the WSYWIG more sparingly, but in this case, I wanted to give my wife more options for modifying the text.  Like I said I've used these in the past and have not had these problems with spacing and basically a wacko looking page.  also, still not sure what's happening with my fancybox pop-ups on about and testimonials?  I've used all of these same elements before with CMS Builder and have not had these problems.

I'm trying to create a blog using CMS Builder.  Have done this before however has been awhile since I've worked with this.  In the code generator for section I am selecting the following: Combination List and Detail Page, show links to many records and full details on one record.

When the code is generated I am getting the the code to convert the html list page into php, the record (list) snippets I've created (Title, Created On date, Title 2, Content, Summary) in the section editor and the corresponding snippets for the full record detail page.  My question is, where is the code that I need to convert the full record detail page to php?  Hope that makes sense.

Also, for the list page, do I only need to paste the list snippets once?  I've selected 3 records per page...

I d/l winmerge and had a closer look; pointed out additional <p> tags inserted from the WYSIWYG as you said.  I went into the html editor in CMS and inserted the text directly (removed additional tags) and it still wants to place additional tags when the record is saved.  I have these areas blocked in span tags so the CSS can handle how it looks.  but the additional tags are making it view with gaps and not allowing it to correctly call the stylesheet. 

Not sure where to go from here.  Like I said I've used this before and have not had this problem.  I just cut and paste the php snippets to call info from the database and let the CSS handle the rest. 

Also, if you click on the About Tab or Testimonials in the html version, you'll see that it comes up in a fancy box of sorts.  Now compare the php version.  None of the style is called.

I've installed the php code and renamed with a .php extension.  I've used CMS Builder a few times and have not had this problem:  the php pages are not viewing correctly.  Have a look here and compare.

This is the same for all of the pages. 

I have not u/l the index page as I have a temp there right now.  If you click on About or Testimonials you'll see a stylized window open up.  This is also viewing incorrectly in the php version. 

I've went through the code and can't see why there are all of these gaps? 

any suggestions?
