Was at a client's today and tried to make some changes to specific records/pages on their site as a part of their training.... first change went just fine, second change (and all thereafter) the changes didn't take/show up when pressing the Save button. Then I tried from my computer at home and the first time I tried to make a change it didn't work again, yet I tried again and I DID work.

Any ideas of what might be going on here?

Hello. I have a client who is having 2 recurring issues over and over.

1) she is having trouble uploading images, and I am not when I try. I said it was her internet connection perhaps. Any other ideas?

2) from her: > I am still fighting with text. I went to Microsoft word like you told me. Typed in what I wanted, pasted it into the editor and it came up another color, font and misaligned. When I tweaked it to get it where I wanted it and saved it, it comes up on the actual site in a
much smaller font and misaligned.

Any ideas or some kind of "help doc" I can send her to assist. She does keep asking for a "help document".

Thanks in advance. Mike

Dave, my apologies! I should have checked a few things before posting, I know better than that! I forgot to replace the universal char set to:

<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html;charset=UTF-8">

... on those pages.

I do have one more issue, the "name" is showing is a smaller font on the details page, and I'm using the exact same code/styles as I simply duplicated the pages and replaced the records. The other pages "detail page" all show the correct font size.

That certainly helped. I had to include the image records in the table as well; and added a bit to the cellpadding so it appeared to "column" the images so they didn't have to be the same width (which is a good idea since most clients who need to use a CMS will take some photos portrait and some landscape).

Thanks!

Hello, this is for Products and how the "list page" shows each product on the page. Currently, the products stack on top of each other while going down the page. My question is:

Can the "list page" results show up on the page 3 or 4 thumbnail images wide (horizontally) with rows going down the page depending upon how many products for that group? Basically I will strip all the records on the list page I don't want to show up, except for the Image and Link (to the details page).

Is this possible? Thanks, Mike
