Hmm, OK, hope you will be able to get the previews to work in the next upgrade.

The site is brand new so there should not be any "old" variables interfering. Any other ideas? Do you want admin panel access to have a look?

We setup the Instant Website for one of our clients.

Have two issues:

1. When searching in Google/Yahoo, both engines have picked up a link in this format: (as an example search for Certainty brands foam soaps)

OK, so I followed your instructions and got this to work perfect including adding a link on each image by using the additional image fields (Caption etc) for the user to be able to have each image link to wherever they want.

Now, the images are sliding in from the right as per the script, but do you know if it's a way to make these images fade in instead of sliding in?

Thanks, all of this pointed me in the right direction. You basically change the CSS in the file I indicated in the first post (to display "correct" within CMS Builder) AND also create a new CSS file that you add in with your other CSS files (if you have any).

The file could be called: customheader.css and contains these statements (sample):

h1 {font-size: 2em;font-weight:normal}
h2 {font-size: 1.5em;font-weight:normal}
h3 {font-size: 1.17em;font-weight:normal}

This ensures the headings are unbolded in Explorer, Opera and Firefox (have not checked others, assume they are OK).

It looks correct inside CMS Builder, but are still bolded as the output to the screen.

Tried the WYSIWYG CSS already, must be somewhere in another CSS. Based on your answer I assume these are the only two CSS files in play for CMS Builder?

Hello

I'm trying to change the H1,H2,H3 headings to be unbolded. I've got this to work INSIDE the WYSIWYG, however it is still bolded on the actual website (even after I resave the page). Is there another CSS somewhere that controls the actual output?

Any update on this? I'm in need of a Search Plugin for a current client and would rather not use Google search (additional cost, 3'rd party solutions bla bla). A Search Plugin would be perfect. Is it in the works?

Inching closer:

As you see below I also changed the 'thumbWidth2' and 'thumbHeight2' as these are not active. I also hardcoded the size as you mentioned, see below:

These changes resulted in the "Red Square", see http://www.castlekid.ca/gallery_test3.php

However, still no images showing up. The path when right clicking on the red square is: http://www.castlekid.ca/imgsize.php?w=600&h=401&img=/cmsAdmin/uploads/thumb/small-spiderman-jumping-castle_002.jpg which is an image in that folder! The large image also exist in the Uploads folder (cmsAdmin/uploads/small-spiderman-jumping-castle_002.jpg[/#336699]), so why are they not showing?

It looks like that in theory works, however I can't get the images to show up (neither thumbnails nor the large image), see http://www.castlekid.ca/gallery_test3.php
I've only changed the code for the small castles:

&h=&img=" width="" height="" alt="" style="border:hidden" />

What am I doing wrong?

How to open CMSB DB twice?

OK, so we created a booking form, http://www.castlekid.ca/booking_form.php.

One of the fields (Type of Inflatable) pulls data straight from the CMSB Database, see code:

(Please be sure to check
the prices on the pricing page!)

(see list above)

Just below we want to give the client an option to choose an alternative product (2nd Choice) based on the same list. However, copying the same code as for choice 1 into choice 2 gives a DB Error saying your not allowed to open a DB already opened or something to that effect (it's been a couple of weeks since I tried this).

Any ideas how to populate this twice based on the same data?

OK, so I got this to work with both 3 coloumns (http://www.castlekid.ca/prices.php) and testing with 5 coloumns in an image gallery based on Uploads (http://www.castlekid.ca/gallery_test2.php).

However, how can I get the images in the test gallery (http://www.castlekid.ca/gallery_test2.php) to "popup" like in the original Gallery (http://www.castlekid.ca/Gallery.php) when using this 3 coloumn method? (I get the images to load in a new window, but the JavaScript popup looks so much nicer!)

Thanks for your feedback, sorry it's taken some time to prepare this. Never had a summer as busy as this one ever.

I have uploaded the design as requested and also added in the records names as the "initial values" of the form for you to easily see what goes where.

Now since this "Leave a Message" form is substantially shorter than what the actual output of the Testimonials would be, I wonder if you also can find a way to wrap the Testimonials around the form?

To recap, this is the functionality we're looking for:
- Automatically input the form fields into CMS Builder (but not show the records before they are approved)
- An approval for putting the Testimonials live (a simple Check Box would be perfect)
- Form to automatically be on top of each page (which it will in the current template)
- Also consider any security issues please, don't want any malicious code loaded straight into the database [;)]

Hello

Does anyone have any experience with how to add data from a simple feedback form on your website directly into CMS Builder and also have these only show after they have been approved?

The basic idea is to have Testimonials added directly without having to retype them. The fields would for instance be name, testimonial, date. These data should then be stored, but not visible before they have been approved by the Administrator (Checkmark?).

Any comments appreciated.

We are developing a new site for a client using CMS Builder + Basic Listings template. The client wants to list ALL products in the database on the same overview page and then link to the specification page for each product.

My Questions:
1. How do we create a 3 coloumn listing?
2. Having some problems with "formatting". When trying to add a comma in between to php statements, it automatically add a space before the comma. How can you avoid that? See sample here: http://www.castlekid.ca/testimonials.php

Artman 2 - Expanding images...

I was just made aware of an issue and cannot find the exact spot to correct it.

When clicking on an image to "enlarge/open it", it works fine on the main page, but for some reason it adds the directory twice when trying to do the same from the Categories pages.

Sample:

Main Page:

Any chance you can help shedding some light on this issue?

I guess the only thing they need to get around that is to create a "Auto-Publish" script that runs once a day to get these articles published automatically.

Bottom line is that a publishing tool based on articles like this really should have this functionality and it is the # 1 request our clients ask for as soon as we have installed it.

Instead of using the $lastupdated date, couldn't you create a $publishStartDate and a $publishEndDate in the database and then check these towards the current server date? This way you should be able to have these articles showing up within the specific date interval. Of course if no start/end dates have been input on the article, it will be treated the same way as it is now. If a start date has been given, but no end date it will show up at the start date and stay forever! If no start date, but an end date has been given it will show immidiately and then disappear when the end date is reached?

What do you think?
