Instant Realty Website not showing correct checkbox values

Instant Realty purchased 9/15/2009 Version 1.31. Any value put in a checkbox is showing up as a '1' or a '0'. It is set to show 'yes' or 'no' respectively. Any idea as to what is causing the snafu?

Hey Dave,

I tried replacing the offensive address and got returned this error:

MySQL Error: You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '-- DROP TABLE IF EXI' at line 1

So I have no idea what to do for that...

The initial problem DID, however, fix itself after I had the client log in to the admin panel using the correct address and not the IP Addy...

Sorry to change the topic mid-stream, but any ideas as to why the DB backup is behaving as it is?

Image Linking in WYSIWYG incorrect

When I first installed CMSB, I had the address set to http://174.143.92.42/waxahachiechamber.com in General Settings in order to work on it before it went live. Now, after going live, everywhere it should in the admin panel, it reads http://waxahachiechamber.com as it should....

However...

When adding an image in the WYSIWYG editor for ANY page, it lists the image URL as http://174.143.92.42/emediacms/uploads/Website_File.jpg when it is SUPPOSED to read http://waxahachiechamber.com/emediacms/uploads/Website_File.jpg. (Website_File.jpg is of course being used for any image....)

I can find absolutely no way to fix this aside from manually changing it every time I post a new image, which is unacceptable to our end-user.

That did it Dave!!! Thanks so much!! However, now all the images that were uploaded aren't linking? I put the backup of the original uploads in its correct place, and made sure permissions are correct. The path to the images is showing up correctly, so now what gives?

DB not connecting after Backup

So I had CMSB 1.36 on a site (http://174.143.92.42/waxahachiechamber.com/emediacms/). When it came time to go live, the address is now http://waxahachiechamber.com/emediacms/. CMS didn't like this and wasn't able to be accessed at all. So, I made a backup of the MySQL DB, and a backup of the Uploads and reinstalled CMSB 1.36 anew connecting it to the existing database. Went through the setup again, and wanted to Restore a backup (of which it said there was none). So, I created a backup....

Now, the backup is showing entries for every table that was created and all the entries as such (they all match the syntax of the original MySQL backup). However, none of the sections or data therein are populating through the admin panel....

Anybody have any idea how to fix this? The data/paths are all there but the information is not in the admin panel?

Help?!?!?

Yes. My colleague directly behind me cannot recreate it with IE 8. However, 3 other people in this office with IE 8 get it to view incorrectly as I did. So yes, I'm stymied....

'Email this page' discrepancy in IE

In Firefox and Safari this works as expected, however in a Multi-Record Module on the detail page where the operator to email a friend is included, in IE (8 to be specific) I get the long URL reference before the link to email a Friend. (ie. In Firefox, when you click 'Email This Page,' an email is opened with the page URL as the Subject, and the text only reads 'Email This Page.' In IE8 the text for 'Email This Page' reads 'http://174.143.92.42/waxahachiechamber.com/calendar/defaultDetail.php?Jacquelines-Training-Day-3">Email this Page'.

Is this something incorrect in my Viewer URL's? The actual code for the Email function is simple:

Email this Page

And as I said, it works as expected in Firefox.... I'm just (as usual) hating IE at this moment, any explanations?

php include not working on multi-listing page

This question is going to best be exemplified by looking at addresses.

I have a multi-record module to list calendar events (http://174.143.92.42/waxahachiechamber.com/calendar/default.php). On the lower left of that page is also a single record module laid in as a php include (for Upcoming Events), which works extremely well, except for this one caveat.

On the first detail listing in the calendar, the Upcoming Events include shows up correctly. however, on every subsequent listing the Upcoming Event include will not show up (I WAS getting the dreaded 'No Record Found' error until I commented it out in the include file), now it just shows up as empty.

The code on my include file is:

So it's very simple. Is the error in the 'where' operator? Or is it the 'limit'?

This is the first I've used a module as an include file, but it's solving a lot of issues so I'd like to continue. Any suggestions?

I was looking over for a situation just like this. I tried (using

) to no avail. It shows up the size as the original Thumbnail.

However, when I change the 'if' statement to use Thumbnail 2 (using
Code

) it works... Sort of... I get the error on the page "Notice: Undefined index: hasThumbnail2 in C:\inetpub\wwwroot\bobkingrealty.com\agents\detail.php on line 128."

Any ideas?

OK, so I'm building a multi-menu layout for a photo gallery to include 5 columns, as I've done before with WYSIWYG styles, but never UPLOAD stlyes.

So here's my existing code:

And with this I get the error:

"Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_ENDFOREACH in /home/francesl/public_html/gallery/indexDetail.php on line 112"

But the syntax as I've used before is the same?

Any ideas as to what gives?

Hey Dave, once upon a time (I say this for I forget when I read it) I heard that in some future version, .png files (when saved with a transparency) would remain as such when uploaded into CMS Builder.

Any truth to this and if so, mayhaps you can say what approximate version?

wow Dave, i appreciate your patience on this. So after further inspection, here's what should be happening.

On the main categories page:
http://209.62.14.161/products/furnlistList.php
Should list the categories, as mentioned before.

Now, when clicking on a category, it should, in theory, go go another "furnlistList.php" page to list the subset of categories in each. However, it is at present going directly to the "furnlistDetail.php" page, whether there is a product in there or not. (Very confusing!!!)

So, when there is an actual product in the Main Category page, clicking on it will bring up the Details page as expected (not wanted from this main list, but what have you.

Normally, if you clicked on a category with no products in it, you would go to the obligatory "No Record Found" entry, but this isn't happening... The furnlistDetail.php page is being listed as if there is a product there, when nothing even exists!!

For the record, I took the Square Table Product out and re-inserted it to no avail....

This is just that seems to just miss the intention...

Wow, i REALLY didn't mean to make this one difficult. Okay, that made the "Square Table" go away from the Main Category List, however, when you click on tables, nothing appears at all?!? However, truth be known, it has never appeared under the Tables category as it should.

I'm completely stymied on this one...

Okay, sorry for the misunderstanding. The only sections that should be on the first page are: Tables, Gliders, Swings, Chairs & Rockers, and Other. The "Square End Table" Entry should not be that page at all. Square End Table shouldn't bee seen until after you click the "Tables" Main Category.

As it is now, it's showing in the main menu, which is incorrect. So I'm not sure the depth indicator would work?
