Hi,

We built a CMS Builder site for a client 3 years ago, they have been regularly updating it without problems but they have just gone to login and their username and password is saying it is incorrect. I have tried logging in with the same details and have the same problem. We have both tried the 'Forgotten your password' link but aren't receiving the email with the link to reset the password. We have checked the spam folder and no email from Interactive Tools. Could you help please?

I've got this working on a website I've built, but need some help with setting up more than one archive. Basically I have a main news page and have created two archives, one for 2010 and another for 2009. I've used the 'where' => 'archived = 0' and 'where' => 'archived = 1', along with a checkbox to make the 2010 stories go in their corresponding archive. What 'where' clause do I need to make the 2009 archive work?

Hi Dave,

I have tried that but when I try to upload the file it says Permission denied (Error - 160). I have checked the MySQL details and they haven't been changed. The message I get when trying to run the cmsAdmin/admin.php?menu=admin for the website is

Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator, [no address given] and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

FTP details changed

Hi, I have a site that I have built for a client and they have recently just changed their FTP details with their hosting company (without telling me, helpful!) and I now can't get onto the CMS admin. Do I need to access the site and change the FTP details within the admin section? If so, how do I do this?

All they have changed is the username and password.

List page with separate introduction

Hi,

Just want to see if this is at all possible. The homepage of a website I am building has a introduction on one side of the page and then several news stories on the other. Here is this page is standard html - http://www.carbon-gold.com/index.html

I want to know if it is possible to have both the introduction and the news stories as editable regions within CMS. Do I set the page up as a list page and how do I get the intro text to be one item and then the news stories as another? I'm new to CMS Builder so any help would be gratefully received.

Page content not updating

Hi, I am updating the content on this page of a website http://www.beechfieldhouse.co.uk/longleat_safari_park_break/index.shtml

The content has clearly changed in Article Manager but the updated content is not showing on the web. I have emptied my cache and refreshed the page several times but no joy. I have also tried looking at the page on different computers but it is still the old content. I have tried doing a Publish All but it still won't update. Any ideas??

Hi Jake,

Many thanks for your help. I have managed to get it to work on the bottom of this page - http://www.beechfieldhouse.co.uk/country_house_hotel/index.shtml but it only seems to be displaying the name of the category I am on and I need it to display the names of all the categories of the whole site. Have a not done some correctly? Also is it possible to make these links so that you can click on them and they will take you to the relevant page?

Hi, my client wants to add a sitemap to the bottom of each page of his website much like this one on http://www.plumbermanor.co.uk/. Is there a way of doing this in Article Manager so that it updates every time he adds a new category or changes the name of an existing category? Ideally we want the list to use the Category Summary Header placeholder from each page. Any ideas if this is possible?
