Can I set it up to pull from 2 fields? Most would be from the truck listing but the name of the company has to come from the account listing.

I have been playing around with the code and now I get a new error message. That might be progress haha.
getRecords(trucks) errors

I think now I have the RSS formatting correct but not the code to pull from the database.

Thank you for the tips. I added the session_close (); part and nothing bad happened.
I tired the extra . and that did not go over to well. I still have the same error message as I did before. I will keep trying different code until it works.

Thank you for the help I did have to many closing tags. Now when I cleaned up my code to match your example I get this error message. Couldn't start session! 'session_start(): Cannot send session cache limiter - headers already sent (output started at /home/towingeq/public_html/rss.xml.php:1)'!

I attached the new code. Sorry to be a pain coding is just not my strong point.

Thanks for the tips I did get rid of that locations records code.I also removed the single record string. I want to show the 5 most current listings at a time. One issue I see is the I need to pull from trucks and the account field. How do I add both fields to that statement. I attached the new revised code.

Hello all,
I want to add a RSS feed to a site I am working on.
I used the http://www.interactivetools.com/docs/cmsbuilder/rss_feeds.html as a template. It validated and looked like it would work. Yet when I run some test posts they do not show up in the feed. I am pulling records from 3 different areas of input. That is where I think the wheels fall off my code. I attached the php file if anyone would like to give it a look and point me in the right direction.

changing slideshow speed

Hello all I just had a new site setup by the great folks at interactive tools. Now I get an email from the people upstairs they want the image and text to rotate every 10 second. Currently it changes on the load of the page. http://towingequipmentsearch.com/ I hope I don't have to change out all the code for the slide show.

Right now it goes like this.

1. click on distributor link
2. enter your email and password
3. log in and enter your company information, billing, ect..
4. They can click on the listing button that takes them to a page where they can enter trucks and equipment they have for sale. ( it is a pretty stander form like most car sites have)

In addition to that I want a form people can fill out to become a member all this would ask is the basic information and allow them to save searches no posting privileges.

I do have one more question can they sign up it emails me and I have to approve them before they can start posting.

Sounds like the plugins can do this

Hello Sorry if this has been asked but I could not find my exact question.

We currently have a site written in 100% custom code that allows people to sign up and become distributors. Meaning they have access to the back end so they can post listings of trucks or equipment they have for sale.

We would also like to have a user sign up box this would grant only the ability to save searches maybe favorite a listing.

The developer that built the site has moved on so we would have to shift over to CMSB first. Before we do that I want to know with this plugin can deliver the features I just listed.

So my question is can the plugin be configured to have 2 levels of granting access on the same site?
