- When any of the insert boxes (image, media, etc.) is clicked a pop-up panel appears but is all plain grey
- When I attempt to copy ad paste an image, the image does not show up
- Clicking the HTML button generates a blank white popup screen

I this a browser or permissions problem?

Also, the company has a hard time articulating product differences. Having used both AM2 and CMS Builder, I now know exactly how they differentiate. But try finding a good comparison on the IT site, let alone a good argument for using CMS vs. Joomla.
