I'm finally getting my feet wet with CMSB. I'm working on a backpage, and I've successfully gotten the respective category's articles to display (see http://www.bloxhamschool.com/cmsbabout.php?category=8)

However, I'm running into issues getting the categorymenu at left to behave properly. Ideally, only children of 'About Us' would display in orange on the left menu, with each child's articles being displayed when the menu is exploded. As the site currently sits, ALL categories and subcategories display at the left, and the selected category (currently Headline News)'s articles display/repeat under EVERY category.

Stuck here :(

Also, I'm a bit confused as to how I'll build the rest of the pages for the website. With AM2, I built only 1 categoryindex template, and used category variables to display the correct menus being highlighted, etc etc (eg the cms published the entire site from 1 or 2 templates). With CMSB, I feel like I have created cmsbabout.php, but I will need to create cmsbnews.php, cmsbadmissions.php, etc etc. Is this the case, or am I missing something?

Thanks in advance

Hi All, I have a client who we've trained meticulously to ONLY use Paste from Word - yet we're getting odd characters in place of quotation marks, pound symbols, etc.

Please see some examples (oddly, in IE only, not FF/Safari):
http://domain1673872.sites.fasthosts.com/society_friends/index.php
http://domain1673872.sites.fasthosts.com/foundation/index.php
http://domain1673872.sites.fasthosts.com/communitylinks/index.php

My first bet was to try the convertDataToUnicode - but oddly, in the Converted Content Preview for these articles, everything appeared fine even though 'Don't convert charset' was selected!!!

I've double-checked that my charset (UTF-8) was set in my header - what am I missing?

Thanks for your reply Ross.

Reports of the issue have come from different browsers/os's/installs of AM. I just did a test on http://domain1027317.sites.fasthosts.com/sixthform/index.php
(AM 2.1, using Firefox), and it placed a <br> at the end of my 'typed in' summary.

I was hoping to tackle this from the admin side, by disabling specific tags - you'd mentioned a few months back that this might be possible?
I've been having an ongoing issue on several client sites with the amount of space before and after the summary.
the system tends to insert <p> and </p> around the text entered into the summary box, regardless of if 'paste from word' is used, and the users have to go into 'view html' to remove (which scares clients!)

Is there any way to stop this?? If it were artman 1.x i would use xssfilter.ini to disable the <p> and just have users use shift+return to insert returns.

Is there ANY way I can disable certain HTML tags from being accepted into the WYSIWYG in AM2.x? (I ask this because it would also help my font standardization issue)

HELP!

If i check the second one (emulated SSI), none of my php includes work (menus and headers just dont show up, no error) and my search results page looks unformatted and just shows the advanced search page, with:

[Emulated SSI Error : 'PHP' script files cannot be included with emulated SSI!]

where all the includes (category menu, headlines, etc) would be. i've left this setting the way it was, maybe you can take a look if my description isnt clear enough.

All working well except, you guessed it, search.cgi

On "more, next, prev" articles, I get this error:
Error: Unknown host 'queenswood.org.': at (eval 177) line 53, <DATA> line 643.

When I try to use the search engine? I get:
Error: Unknown host 'queenswood.org.': at (eval 132) line 53, <DATA> line 643.

P.S. - because it's a development server, the domain wasn't transferred yet. During development, I modify my hosts file to point requests to www.queenswood.org to 216.246.62.92. Could this be the reason?
