HI Jeff,

i cant remember exactly which file it was, LIB folder i believe, i found the line that was giving me the error, i commented it out, (it looks to be a secondary check thats failing for some reason), so commenting it out has stopped the error for me,

i just searched the error specifically in my project folder , it came up with the Lib file, and commented it out.

i have no idea if thats the right thing to do, but it works

UPDATE: the file was LIB\Password.php

Hi tim, no its been there since i updated to php 8 , i have tried to remove as many plugins as possible to see if it would remove it, but no joy so far, was hoping there might be a way to have it log more info or something like that, but i will plod on going through each of my plugins and trim any possible white space ,but thank you for your help!

Hi tim, thank you, i think it is related to http, https differences, we have forced it to use https and it appears to have sorted the issue currently and allows us to access the site now, im still getting the error regarding white space, ( is there a way to see any more info on this?)

but for now forcing https seems to have ”fixed” the issue

hi Guys, did we get anywhere with this? i keep getting the error when anyone logs out, even logging into the CMSB via your login.

im also reciving this error in yellow:

Unexpected output was sent by a program library or plugin.

Output was "

" (7 chars)

Developers: Check plugins and library files for accidentally added whitespace or other characters.

Hi Guys,

ive recently moved our crm to a new server. php 8.3.6. not everytime , but most of the time when i try to log in to the cmsb i get the "Error: Password cannot be blank" and we cant login, would anybody have any ideas?

i have had this error: Password cannot be blank in /home/*******/admin/plugins/websiteMembership/websiteMembership.php on line 155 which is: loginCookie_set($userRecord['username'], getPasswordDigest(@$_REQUEST['password']));

any help would be useful. thanks in advance

thank you for your reply, essentially, my list is generated from another table using SQL depending on what feature it is, so i don't know how many options there are likely to be,

I.e

im creating a style for a jacket,

create the style-code, and all the features of that jacket has, i.e colour, buttons, fabric etc...

i have other tables for available options for colour , buttons , fabric... that i can choose from.

so every time i create a new garment, all the options are 'off' and i need to default them to 'ON' and then turn off the options i don't want

Hi , this seems like a simple issue, but i cant find the answer in the forum:

i have created a list that uses checkboxes for multiple values, these option values are from another table, what do i need to put into the 'Default Value' in the field options to make everything be selected when i create and not deselected?

currently every time i create a new object, all the options have to be ticked, i just want to deselect the ones i don't want, hope this makes sense, photo attached

only get this when im not logged in, it is displaying multiple times,

isnt there once logged in..

I would defiantly look to get the following if they were plugins:

- Database Cache Plug-in (to cache output and reduce server load on high traffic sites)
- CGP for user website signups and login only pages
- CGP for search form generator
- Change Alerts, automatically email selected users when a record is added, modified or removed
- CSV export - ability to export selected records or a section as a excel or CSV file.
- Twitter Poster - automatically post to twitter when a section is updated.

This would also would help with other projects I have done were by we have had to code our own web application especially the bit with the user to access content this something I was going to be looking at very shortly for our own website as well as a few clients any idea what sort of time scale we are looking at for some of these developments? or they still just ideas?

also another idea would be to look at pulling in other RSS feeds like drupal does this would be really handy and would mean people could look to move away from the likes of drupal and design there own using CMS builder as almost all the fuctions are there

In our current website I have added the code to a field for the Google analytics and also added a few bits around meta tags and page descriptions into fields to help with SEO like page tags etc. This would be helpful if this was part of CMS Builder to set out some basic SEO within the interface

Incuding two different type of information from the same table on one page

Hi,

I’m having an issue were by I want to display a detail page of an item but want to also list other items in the same category from the same table in the database
For example:

I have a page that lists everything with the category of “Invoicing Module” when I click on this record from the list it opens up a details page to give me the full details about this Invoicing Module Bugfix the tricky bit come when I want to list of other programs that are in the same category of “Invoicing Module” in date descending order (the date bit I can do)

I have tried to create a include page and add a query string to the end but that stops the page from working. I think is the easiest way to go but was unable to get the query string to work

I did manage to get the page to display what I wanted the include to do by doing the following:

But how do I get this to work as an include? In the past I have normally needed to include or add the extra functions to pull from a different tables and have been able to do that by using WERE commands at the top and adding this code (standard stuff)

Also I could do with excluding the current record as well from the list if we use an include to query the list of items in the same catagory then it will obviously include the item we are on.

I thought I could exclude this by using the record number but this would also need to be added to the query string at the end of the include.

Hope this is clear I know it’s sometimes hard to grasp what other people are trying to achive, need any more info let me know

Ok I have a table called: equipment type this has the fields: make, model and type

make is the manufacture e.g. ZyXEL, Cisco or HP etc. Model is the actual model number and type is what the item is e.g. Router, Firewall, Server etc.

ok so let’s say I add:
make = cisco
model = 877
type = router

next section:

I have a table called clients_equipment I have added 3 list box’s based on the fields from the table above (equipment_type)

what I want to be able to do is select type and then make and for the list for make to dynamically update to only display items that have router in the type and then for the model list box to update to only show the items that have both the make and type matching

[font "Calibri"]e.g. I select Router from the type list box and the list box will then display ZyXEL and Cisco (as they have been set with Router in the field: type in the table equipment_type) I select Cisco from the make list box (as this has been set in the make field within the table equipment_type) and then the model should only display 877

Type > Make > Model
Router > Cisco > 877

Type > Make > Model
Firewall > ZyXEL > USG100, USG200, USG300

Using the List box with MySQL

I have created a table called ‘client’ and within that table I have 2 fields’ called ‘client_name’ and ‘branch’.
I have then created another table called ‘fullinfo’ I have created a list box based on the field ‘client_name’ and I have created another list box based on ‘branch’

how do I get the branch box to query the database and only display the braches listed with the same client name (from field client name) ?

should be an easy one I would say but I must be looking at this all the wrong way

If anyone has any ideas
