We've just released CMS Builder v1.08. We've put a lot of work into wider compatibility, including older PHP and MySQL support. Here are the version highlights:
COMPATIBILITY:
- Lowered PHP required to v4.3.0+ (over 5 years old)
- Lowered MySql required to v4.1.7+ (over 3 years old)
- Switched to 'mysql' extension (from less popular 'mysqli' extension)
- Added automatic code to disable 'magic_quotes_gpc' for servers that have it left on
SEARCHING:
- Added automatic date search suffixes (_year, _month, _day). Example: viewer.php?date_year=2008&date_month=1
As with all the updates we've been making, many thanks to all the users for getting us your feature requests and bug reports.
Now is a great time to get us your input, so post your feedback in the forum or send us an email (me at theo@interactivetools.com, or contact Dave at ceodave@interactivetools.com).
Talk to you soon!

This ones a big update with MAJOR code changes.
I recommend that production (live) sites do a clean install in a new directory and do a quick test that everything works before upgrading.
The major issue is making sure you have the 'mysql' extension. Most servers have it, and a quick install test install will confirm that.
