Dave,
I've searched CMS 1.15 and I can't find that snippet of code anywhere. I do find "echo $value" in the list.php file, but it's in a line of code that is different than what you suggested above, see below.
I've attached the version of List.php I have installed.... I upgraded from 1.05 to 1.15 if that makes any difference. I can't find the snippet $tdAttributes anywhere either.

That's probably the right line. I think you might have attached the 1.05 version. Try adding it above that line in v1.1.15 and see if it works. If not just restore the backup and I'll help you out with it.
