Hi Charles,
Start by creating a viewer that displays a list of images. Then have it output each image in a <td></td> than add this just before the <?php endforeach ?> to have it output a </tr><tr> every 3 columns:
<?php $maxCols=3; if (@++$count % $maxCols == 0): ?></tr><tr><?php endif; ?>

Just put those inside the foreach loop like this:
