We have only used cmsBuilder once really. The main reason has been an inability allow clients to manage their own website navigation menus.
Am I correct in thinking that the recently added "Category" menu type is supposed to achieve this?
If so how will it work. Obvuosuly the most flexible method is to use dropwdown menu options such as those at www.2and4wheels.com
So can we somehow use this facility to create horizontal and vertical menu systems?
I think if this were possible then it adds a completely new dimension to the product and I will have a new client right away!
Your comments would be appreciated.

Hi Vaisoco,
Thanks for posting!
Like all of the code in CMS Builder, its actual design and implementation on your site is completely customizable, so you'll definitely be able to create vertical or horizontal menus with special drop-down effects if you'd like.
The category menu option lets you create your own set of categories on the site. The way these are typically used is by setting up a "Category" list field for one of the other sections on your site that uses the "Get options from database" option to pull in the list of category selections. You can then use the viewer options for the section's page to filter your displayed records by category.
Feel free to get in touch if you have any other questions about this. [:)]
