Is anything special required to change the domain name on a site which is using CMS Builder?

Ii will be changing the DNS so a different URL will point to the site, and all internal references will be changing to the new domain name. The hosting site will remain un-touched. What will I need to do in the CMS Admin if anything?
CMSB Rocks!
Thanks,
Kurt

Hi kkegans,

On most installations you won't need to change anything in CMS Builder when switching over the domain name. If the directory structure on your hosting package isn't changing, then the only field here you'll really want to adjust is the 'View Website' URL.

Let us know if you have any other questions. [:)]

For now that field is just for registration purposes to give us an idea of who the license is suppose to be for - it's currently not validated against the actual domain in any way.

All of our licensing is currently setup to err on the side of making things work for the web developer who may be moving sites around as you're doing now.

So either domain is fine and it can be changed under the Admin menu if needed.

Hope that helps!
