Hello,
I just purchasd CMS builder and it looks exciting. I need to make a drop down menu with several categories and sub categories like the example below:
Home | Articles | Pictures | Stories | Etc |
I would like my client to be able to add to this menu with ease but If I have to make changes manually and use an SSI that is also ok.
My question is: How do I make this menu with the programming code? I don't want to use javascript for this menu but rather CSS (<li>) for SEO purposes. I am willing to pay the consulting fee if need be. I just need to be pointed in the right direction =)
I've read that your new menu type for these categories is integrated with the recent version of CMS builder but is more advanced. I would be happy to spend the money If I can get this task accomplished. I'm sure using an <li> list will work. I know html and css, it's just the programming code I am not familiar with.
Thank you,
Derek

Hi Derek, welcome to the CMS Builder forum! :)
The first step is to create the menu exactly how you want it in plain html with <li>'s, and css, etc.
Next, create a "category section" with a record for each menu item (or a few to test with at least).
Next, see this post for some sample code to display a <ul><li> list: http://www.interactivetools.com/iforum/P64443
Give that a try and let me know how far you get and if you need any more help with it!
