v1.09 question about checkbox fields

Dave and Co,
The client is using CMS B v1.09 and has declined an upgrade. On the admin side when a checkbox is installed as an inventory option...the viewing result is either a "1" for yes or a "0" for no. How do we make that reveal as a "yes" for yes and a "no" or blank for no? I'm not talking about the viewers for the public...but in the admin section.

It's not possible in the admin section in 1.09.
You could try switching to a pulldown field, but then you might have to also update any code on the website to test for "yes" or "no" instead of 0 or 1. Also you may need to reset that field field for each of the records.
Unfortunately no easy solution. Sorry about that!

Thanks Dave. I kind of figured that. There IS an easy solution and that's for the client to allow the upgrade to the current version with multiple dropdowns, etc. I showed her how it would increase the SEO work as well. Some just won't budge. Eventually she'll ask for some more upgraded elements and she'll have to.
