date/time field needs options

I'm using CMS B version 1.22. We're adding fields for "projects listings" and we want to put the date of a project within the record. When we added the field we selected date/time because that's the obvious choice...we don't want a text field as we want to be able to sort by, etc. and be consistent. However, the date/time type of selection only gives a choice of a date range by years, and then specified by hours, minutes, and/or seconds. Why is there no choice for month or day? I find this strange and found nothing related in the forums. The month and day options could apply to nearly any use for this field. Is there a current work around?
Thanks!

Or you want to be able to control whether month and day or shown?

Do you need to see it? I can forward login separately if so.

You should be seeing a field for the day and month, so you'll want to go ahead and submit a support request here so that we can look at this more closely:

1) First thing I did was ensure I had the newest CMS Builder version.
2) In the admin area for building the fields I chose "date/time" as the option
3) I put an extended year range in and didn't check any of the boxes below it. A screen shot is attached.
I think that took care of it.

I'm suprised I'm the only one confused about this, ha. Oh well thanks for such a fast reply!
Now I need to write support and tell them to cancel my ticket. :)
