Considering purchase of CMS builder - have question

I know it's not exactly what you have in mind but this page may be of some use to you as it shows what some of the data fields look like.

There aren't any shots of the full page however which shows the CMSB name etc (so that web designers who want to rebrand the product can use these images).

From personal experience I have found the most computer illiterate of clients are able to use the system with ease. I don't even have to provide instructions - I just give them the login info and they are able to pick it up. Each section is clearly labelled on a menu along the top, they click it and then see the boxes to enter data like on the page above. I tell my clients that if they can type, they will be able to update the site. I find it also helps to compare the WYSIWYG editor to the way MS Word works (with the text formatting) as everyone is familiar with that.


I'm not too sure what you mean about "locked" portions, but I gather you are thinking along the lines of how the dreamweaver templates work where you cannot edit a template and have to make editable fields.

With CMSB you will take your completed web pages and insert small snippets of php code so it knows where to generate the data. So in that sense there's no way a client could edit any of the html they are not supposed to touch.
