Problem With Previewing a Record

Question:
- Once located within the user content section where you can create, modifying or preview a record I have a problem with *Previewing* a record. I select the checkbox for the record which I would like to view (file which has the list view eventList.php), I click the preview button and I get a 404 error within my web browser. I see that the URL is INCORRECT. The CMS keeps looking for the php file (eventList.php) to be WITHIN the directory where I have the Admin files. See below for directory structure:
ClientName(folder)\
...cmsAdmin(folder)
...news(folder)
...index.php
...eventList.php
Thanks for your help!

Re: [studio-a] Problem With Previewing a Record

Hi Studio-a,
The preview button the record list page redirects the user to the "List Page Url" under: Admin > Section Editors > Your Section > Viewer Urls.
If you set the list page url to start with a / or http:// it will work correctly.
Also note that it just opens a window to the list page, so the user can see their new record. It doesn't use the checkboxes or preview specific records.
Hope that helps!
