Seems to be a bit buggy and cannot link at all, the drop down fields

Have you ever had the CMS Builder wysiwyg work from your computer or is this a new problem?

other versions i have before 1.2.4 work
this was a new install for a client and the only 1.2.4 version i have installed so far.
That link worked fine and all the functions worked for me
