Address Markup question

i know this is probably something I've just missed through all the other questions, but how to change the address bar?
For instance:
http://209.62.14.161/products/buildingsDetail.php?1
i understand the "1" after the .php is the record number, but where/what do you change to get the actual product to be used in the stead of the "1" (More SEO friendly and all that?)
Thanks All!!

Hi misery217,
There's lots you can do to customize the urls. But the simplest approach to start with is just to add some content from the record in the url so search engines can pick it up. That would give you something like this: ?Lofted-Barn-1
To do that go to: Admin > Section Editors > Buildings (or your section name) > Viewer Urls (tab) > Filename Fields
Then enter the title field or whatever field you want in the url.
Hope that helps! Let me know if that works for you.

From an SEO perspective, another thing you should considering doing is appending the product names/title to your <title> tags.

Indeed... Am doing that as we speak. Thanks!
