Howdy,

When pasting from word into a WYSIWYG field, the 'Paste from word' pop up box comes up, and I use that as normal, however it still ends up putting a heap of word html tags and junk into the html of the WYSIWYG.

I'm sure i've never had this problem before now... this is on a new install of the new version (1.26).

I'm getting this junk before any of the text:
REMOVED because it makes the page soo wide!

The paste from word pop up dialog should be stripping all that junk out, shoudn't it?

If it should... any ideas why it's decided not to today?!

Cheers in advance
Rob

Re: [Dave] WYSIWYG pasting from word

Hi Dave,

The tinymce demo works fine - stripping out all of the junk.

Pasting exactly the same into the CMS WYSIWYG ends up with all the junk...

Suggests problem with tinymce on the altest version of cms (1.26) maybe??

Cheers Dave,
Rob

Hi Rob,

Yea, it would either be:
a) the server configuration
b) the tinymce configuration
c) the tinymce version we're using

So we'd need to test of each of those. To test a), if you have another install on a different server you could upgrade it and see if you can repeat the same issue.

To upgrade tinymce you can download the latest version here: http://tinymce.moxiecode.com/download.php and unzip the /tiny_mce/ folder to /cmsAdmin/tinymce3/

And if neither of those work we can check for the differences between their demo configuration and the configuration in our version.

If you want me to upgrade your tinymce for you just email me FTP and CMS details to dave@interactivetools.com. I can upgrade and add the latest tinymce to the next version.

Hope that helps!

Re: [Dave] WYSIWYG pasting from word

Hey,

I've updated the tinymce, and the problem still happens.

I have got another server with the CMS installed, but it's an older version, and I'm not 100% sure how to upgrade. I've sent you FTP details if you are able to upgrade that one :)

Thanks Dave
