Upload Info from a Drop-down List?

Hi, Dave -

Here's a quickie for you....

Is it possible to rig an Upload gizmo so that it uses a list generated on another table as one of the "info" options?

I'm currently building a site for some photographers - which will feature numerous galleries. As well as adding a title and a caption for each photo upload it would be great to show the name of the photographer. Obviously life will be a lot easier if, instead of typing in a name for each photo, they can just select the photographer from a drop-down list.

Is it do-able?

Hi Perchpole,

No, unfortunately there's no easy way to do that.

Another approach might be to have one upload per record instead of one record per gallery (multiple uploads). Then you could make use of the other field types.
