Publishing Features

How do you preview a page you are working on in the CMS in the browser before it goes live?
Also, in the Features section of the CMS Builder product page on your website there is a section on "Publishing Features" which mentions options like "Hidden" and "Start and End" dates for content to be live. I can't find where these are set up, nor can I find any instructions in the Help files on the subject.
Cheers

There's currently no way to preview a record before it's saved. But you have click preview on the editor list page to see the current list of records displayed by your viewer.
To enable hidden and start/end dates you can use some special fieldnames listed here: http://www.interactivetools.com/docs/cmsbuilder/special_fieldnames.html
For example, a checkbox field called "hidden" will automatically hide a record from displaying on the website.
Hope that helps! Let me know if you have any more questions.

That explains it. Thanks for the fast response. Love the software more and more as I delve into it. Fantastic for the front end developer like myself.
Have you thought of adding a Form Builder as an optional extra. I'd like my clients to be able to make up forms that could have the resulting info emailed to an address of their choice. I'd definitely pay extra for that.
Cheers,
Richard

We definitely have forms on our "to-do" list so it should be something CMS Builder can do in eventually.
In the meantime, we can always help you setup a form through consulting. It's usually pretty quick. Just email consulting@interactivetools.com for more details :).
Either way, keep us up to date with how you are making out :).
