Dave -
Is it possible that with new versions we could include the files that have been changed with each new version.
The reason I ask is that you and I have modified installations heavily, and I always wonder what files I can skip uploading and watch out for the ones that changes have been made to due to custom programming.
Most of the time it is just the settings file or some CSS, but several times it involves files in the lib folder.
What do you think?

Im using ultracompare. (from ultraedit guys)
Ultracompare let me check changes in files/directories and comparing/merging files.
I only have one license to update, but many times im lazy to upgrade :)

I can put that together, but first check out WinMerge http://winmerge.org/. It's a free file and directory compare tool that lists not only the changed files (just compare the unzip from two versions) but also highlights the part of the line that has changed.
As part of our release routine we actually go through a line by line review of changes using this method.
Let me know if that works for you or if you need something more.
