css div question

can you help please?

i have a list of news items

i have pasted the php into a div float left

data repeats but the div doesnt

as i want a background image in each div how do i make the div repeat with the data

Hi Chris

Thanks for calling in this morning :).

I suspect the problem you are running into here is that the bits of code that you need CMS Builder to repeat for each article just aren't quite in the right place


My recommendation is going to be setting up a sample page with a few test articles hardcoded right onto it. This makes it much easier to get the page looking perfect to start. At this stage, don't worry about CMS Builder at all. Just do everything by hand so that you have a working template.

Once you have that sample template done, you should see where the CMS Builder code needs to go but post it as an attachment if you run into any trouble.

thanks ill build the page and post it back.

Just another point

to list the data in a horizontal line instead of a vertical column

ive read that i should float the div left

but still the data displays vertical

any quick fix?
