upload problem has just started

HI,
clients site benn working perfectly for a aouple of months V1.26
just started getting this error
Error saving '8393005_1e.jpg', PHP temporary upload folder doesn't exist or isn't defined. i have amended uploadform_functions.php as noted in another thread but not helped

not a cms problem its working ok now
Think its a cheap hosting company problem!

That is something that's come up before and it was server related. There is a code workaround in a different thread, but if you got things going already, great!
