https getting stripped in WYSIWYG

Hi guys,
I am creating a link from a a non-secure page in the site to a secure page where entrants to a fun run enter their credit card details.
When I create the link in the WYSIWYG, I add:
https://www.domain.com/funrunentryform.php
But as soon as I click Insert then go back into the link, it has stripped off the domain and changed it back to just /funrunentryform.php
Can you advise a way around this - it's pretty urgent as now competitors are submitting details without the encrypted URL.

Hi benedict,
The wysiwyg strips off the local domain, you can get around this by linking to an https:// url on a domain that isn't the same as the CMS (such as secure.yourdomain.com) or checking this option under Admin > General Settings:
WYSIWYG Options [_] Save full URL for local links and images (for viewers on other domains)
