Display Order of New Postings

We are using CMSB to post NEWS items on our homepage. Currently the FIRST item submitted during the day appears at the TOP of the homepage and every new item posted throughout the day appears below the first item in the order of top to bottom

1st
2nd
3rd
4th
5th

We want the order to be most recent always on top and the previous post just below that in the following order:

5th
4th
3rd
2nd
1st

Can someone please instruct us how to change the display order?

Login to the cms and go to the Section Editor for the news items. You will see a tab for "Sorting". You just need to add "DESC" to the sort order...

createdDate DESC

This will sort by the news items by date in descending order (newest first).
