We have just had our 2nd website using CMS Builder shut down by our host due to excessive MySQL activity.
The issues is exactly the same for both. One query is running over and over again and crashing the server :-
Opening tables | SET time_zone = '-04:00'
The issue is coming out of the blue after months of no issues.
The only way to solve the previous occurence was to upload new CMS Builder files and restore an earlier version of the DB.
Can you please advise what might have caused these 2 occurences as I am sure its going to happen again.

This isn't actually something I've seen before. The fact that the problem mentions the time_zone I am wondering if because you are in a different time_zone from the server, it needs to constantly update itself.
Either way, the best thing to do now would be to get me onto your server running some tests. I'll even ask Dave about this for you :). Can you send me FTP details for either one of the sites through consulting@interactivetools.com?
