News headlines on two separate pages?

Hi, there.

Is it possible to set up a News section in CMSB so that the same headlines appear on two separate pages? i.e. the homepage and also on the News Headlines page?

Also, can I limit the number of headlines that appear so that only, say, the 10 most recent ones appear, with the rest being archived or appearing on another page?

Thanks,
Nigel Gordijk

Hi Nigel

Thanks for posting!

You can actually have your news articles appear on as many different pages as you like.

You just need to put the list viewer code at the top of the page they need to appear on and then you are good to go.

You can change the perPage value on each page too if you like.

Does that make sense? Let me know if you need more details on this one :).

Re: [ross] News headlines on two separate pages?

Hi, Ross.

Thanks for your reply.

I understand the list viewer code part, but where does the perPage instruction go? And how do I link to a page that contains the rest of the headlines that exceed the perPage value?

Kind regards,

Thanks, Ross. I think that makes sense! :-)

I'm still at the design stage, but thinking ahead.
