Change upload folder for a section

Wow ... I thought it would be a simple matter to rename an upload folder for a section (\cmsAdmin\uploads\horses) to \cmsAdmin\uploads\animals) so I did so on the server, then went back into the section editor and changed the custom upload path to match the new location. I then regenerated the thumbnails, although that may not have been necessary. It doesn't show my uploads for that section any more ... If I change it all back, it is OK.

Am I actually brain dead or am I simply missing something? I really need to change the folder to something more general and don't care to have to re-upload all the images.

Hey Ross ...

Thanks for the quick response! I panicked a tad prematurely, I figured out that I was looking in the wrong place on the server for the links. I found them in the related "cms_uploads" table in the database. I was looking in the cms_animals table which holds the actual profile information. The ones placed in the wysiwyg are still intact since they are stored in the default uploads folder. I should have mentioned that they are the UPLOADS and not the embeded images.

At any rate, it is still a chore to change them now without some script to do a mass change. There are only about 30 images in that folder, so I will just delete and re upload them.

I saw a Dave blurb somewhere in the forum on that subject, but can't seem to find it. It would be nice to be able to manually edit those records in the CMS Admin. Oh well!

Thanks again for you reply.
