I searched the forum but could not find, probably not searching proper key words...Is there an easy way to duplicate an existing page editor and just changing field names? All my pages will have similar structure so instead of adding fields manually, if I could just copy existing and change fields before saving?
Thanks,
Marsha
Thanks,

Hi Marsha,
So if I understand correctly, you created a section, and you want to duplicate it and just modify some.
The best way to do this is add the section (to duplicate) to the Pre-Set section drop down list. found here:
Admin > Section Editors - click "Add new editor"
To add to the Pre-Set dropdown selection, copy the section (example: articles.ini.php) from here:
/cmsAdmin/data/schema/articles.ini.php
To here:
/cmsAdmin/data/schemaPresets/articles.ini.php
And it will now appear in the Pre-Set dropdown list.
Hope this helps.
