CMS not recognizing html ascii code

I have copyright and trademarks that I have placed in the code with html '©' and '' respectively and get some weird symbol output from the editor. I've stripped the code and re-ad but keep getting same output. Any suggestions?

My first thought here is that it's a text encoding problem. Do you know what encoding your are using?

Perhaps you could post a link to the page so I can take a look.
