How do you remove the default Title Field.

I do not want to use the Title header at all.

Hi there.

Thanks for posting!

To remove the title field from you system, you'll need to go into the Admin -> Section Editor. Click to modify the section you want that field removed from and you'll have a big list of all the fields. There will be an erase button for each one that you can use to remove title.

One thing to keep in mind here is that some of your sections may use the title field in some of the other areas. Make sure you don't see title in any of the lists at the top of the page or on any of the other pages that you can click through with the tabs (This is all within the section editor still).

That should get you done. Make sure to save the table after all this.

Let me know how you make out :).

Hi,

I'm guessing that "title" still appears in one of the Filename Fields for that section.

Go to Admin -> Section Editor. Click to modify the section.

Then click the Viewer Urls tab. In the Filename Fields, remove "title" then click the "Save Details" button.

That should fix it. Let me know if it doesn't.
