I have an older site based on Listings Manager (Realty) and I am think of now purchasing CMS Builder for a new site. Since I may need to outsource some changes what sort of coder should I be looking for..
1. Am I correct is saying that CMS Builder is based on PHP?
2. And the older version of Listings Realty Manger was based on Perl?
Also I am looking to convert an existing site built in MS Frontpage and using tables to CMS Builder this site does NOT use CSS
3. Is it important for html site to have CSS style sheets for CMS Builder to work best?

Hi AussieT,
To answer your questions:
1) Yes, CMS Builder is written in PHP (and uses a MySQL database)
2) Yes, Listings/Realty Manager is written in Perl (and uses a flatfile database)
3) No, CMS Builder doesn't require CSS style sheets on the viewer pages. It can output anything, table based HTML, CSS based HTML, even XML.
Are you looking to upgrade your own Realty site to CMS Builder? If so, let me know as we're working on an upgrade script and you could be a beta tester.
Hope that helps!
