Is there a way to make it so that users will only see their posts as author?
Is there a way to have the system so that I can automatically have some links created for each user. The idea is to have a site with various writers having an account. Each of the authors will have 3 pages, bio, blog and stories. What I'd like to do, is have the 3 links show and automatically link to the current author, so if you were looking at, for example, the Graham Masterton bio page, clicking on the blog link would take you to the Graham Masterton blog page.
Is there a way to create a check box search page that will then show results of writers who come into certain categories? It would have the normal search box, but also the ability to narrow down depending on the selections made.
Is it possible to list all of the writers alphabetically, and make each of them a link that would go to their section, as described above?

I think the best way to tackle all this is one question at a time. The main thing though is I don't quite understand a couple of them so I am going to go over everything just briefly so you can see where I am at. Once I have a good idea of each each one is, we can decide which one you want to look at first. How does that sound?
1. I don't quite understand this. Are you looking to set it up so when an author logs in, they only see the articles they've created? The system should actually do that already so I don't think I know exactly what you are aiming for here.
2. There are definitely going to be some options here for you but it really depends on how you actually want it all to work on your site. My first question here is, where will the three links appear? Would it be on the detail page? Sort of like a "click here for more info about this author" kind of thing?
3. Does this one mean you want to have a search that lets you find all the authors that are in one particular category? Which would means you are categorizing your authors? Or are you looking to bring up a list of the authors that have posted articles in a specific category?
4. Yes, once we have the three pages sorted out, we can have a list of your authors and then links to each of their three pages.
