Hi Djulia,

So are you saying you would like a CSV export that exported all of a tables record along with all of the upload data as well?

Can you give a simple example?

Thanks!

Hi Dave,

In fact, only the data, in _uploads table, which are attached to the table which is exported.

For example, I have a table houses and a table apartments :

table_house
[num] [createdDate] [createdByUserNum] ... [titre] ...
24,,,..., My house ...

table_apartment
[num] [createdDate] [createdByUserNum] ... [titre] ...
8,,,..., My apartment ...

table_uploads
[num] [order] [createdTime] [tableName] ... [urlPath]
2,,,table_house,...,/images/apartment/pub_1.jpg,...
3,,,table_apartment,...,/images/house/pub_5.jpg,...

I would like to be able to export the data of the House table with the data of the _uploads table which are attached.

My file csv would be (table_house + table_uploads) :

[createdDate] [createdByUserNum] ... [titre] ... [urlPath]
24,,,..., My house ... ,/images/house/pub_1.jpg,...

Does this example help you to understand ?

Thanks, Djulia

A plug-in might be a overkill for this IF...THEN situation. However, there's a function that I've used for doing this (and more). See if this might help you out:

[font "Verdana"]Several great ideas in this thread.

[font "Verdana"]Here are my favorites, in order of preference:

- Change Alerts, automatically email selected users when a record is added, modified or removed (Like this one a LOT!)
[font "Verdana"]- CGP for user website signups and login only pages
[font "Verdana"]- CGP for search form generator
[font "Verdana"]- A more streamlined way of handling IF record exists, as described in this thread

I have a client who would like a listed article "owner" to be emailed at a time prior to the expiry of their article. A copy to the site manager would also be nice.

biggest items in BOLD

sitemap.xml generator that is validated
calendar/events built into the cms

shopping cart integration into the product listing pages and possibly a POS connection.

article expiration notices ( I second that!)

A simple newsletter program without any bells and whistles

1. User signs up and name goes into database (unvalidated)

2. User gets validations email and responds (validated)

3. CMSB user composes email and clicks "Save" (or send) and the email is sent. Only field needed on this screen is a WYSIWYG box or Text Box

4. User gets email (unsubscribe link is at bottom of email automatically)

Now if you felt a little frisky and wanted to add an extra feature or two do this:

1. Users are able to choose from multiple email lists and CMSB users can choose what list they are emailing to.

2. Add additional fields such as phone number and mailing address for other marketing purposes.

3. Allow it to send from SMTP or PHP mail function

The problem with most email programs out there is they are really bloated with too much extra crap. The ones that are really simple are unreliable and easily broken.

In addition, getting everything to work from within CMSB just makes life easier.

Email notification (should be in standard package)
Email Newsletter (basic)
Calendar System (with repeat dates, calander view etc)
Shopping Cart system (maybe with paypal?)
Members sytem (not editors, but to work with forums / blogg comments / past orders / email newsletter etc)

I agree on an CSV export function . I would buy today. We have limited skills with PHP and we are loosing revenue because of our unfortnate skill set. Also i woul like to see an import function if possible? We setup the file layout and the other companies can submit a file to us easily.
