Hi,

..I am currently building my third site with CMS Builder - all going fine until this morning - suddenly I can't get the cmsadmin/admin.php page up - just get an error of 'can't get socket'?

This is after a bunch of Vista 'updates' - should I be thinking about restore points? Anyone else had this problem? I've checked that MySQL is running fine, so not sure why this should be happening...

Thanks

Jim

I am not sure if I am in the right post, but here is my story:

Downloaded the latest Flash Player and parts of our app that rely on
XML socket connection broke. I see that you need to explicitly allow
socket connections now via a crossdomain.xml file. Best practice is
to host it on port 843. I think I've done that, but my FP doesn't
seem to register it.

Hi Jim,

Glad it's working now. If it comes up again feel free to post the exact error and we can research it for you.

Thanks!
