Hey Guys,
I accidently grey out a field to be a system admin field in CMS. How do I un-gray it so I can delete the field all the way? It is now a default field that needs to be filled out even though we dont want it to be anymore. Thanks.

Hi Jason,
If I understand your question correctly, the solution should be pretty straight forward.
If you're logged in as administrator, it should be as simple as going to the section editor, clicking on the modify link next to the field in question, clicking to display the advanced options, un-checking the unwanted restrictions, and then saving your changes.
Hope that answers your question.
Best,
Jerry Kornbluth

Re: [gkornbluth] Un Gray A Field
Jerry,
Thanks for the responds. The field is now be designated as a system control field , That is the problem. It will not let me modify it. The field is Grayed out so I can't access it to change the setting anymore.
