Hi,
it would be great if CMSB was able to create section presets within the admin GUI.
This could either be an admin page of its own, where we could create presets from existings sections, upload presets from a local file and delete presets. Or a simpler approach would be a button inside the Sections Editor pages to simply "Create presets from this section".
Then we wouldn't have to do it like this:

Hi aev,
Are you often creating many sections with the same fields? Usually there's other ways of structuring the sections so that you don't need multiple sections with the same fields.
Can you give me an example of where you'd use this feature?

Hi Dave,
usually not many times per site, but often once or twice per site. When creating a new site I usually create a "site-standard" plain page that often differ slightly from the install default, then it is nice to make this new "site-standard" a saved preset.
This is not a very important feature, more like a nice-to-have one, to save a minute now and then...
