Hi there,
I'm considering using cms builder for a new project which is basically similar to a directory in concept.
1. I need to be able to have new users signup
2. Users will need to be able to login to edit their listing
3. If possible, need to be able to integrate with paypal to accept payments.
So my question is what add ons would I need to do this?
Would "User Sign Up Form" from the custom tools page be all that I need?
Many Thanks,
Jan

Hi Jan,
I'm guessing you're inquiring about custom programming because "User Sign Up Form" is defined on our custom programming request-a-quote page. The best way to hash out custom programming requirements and costs is to fill out that form to start a discussion with our consulting department. Please fill out that form and we can get started.
If, instead, you're interested in coding this project yourself, you'll probably need the Website Membership addon to handle the first two requirements. As to the third, I think the simplest solution would be to handle the payments manually (updating "paid_member" checkboxes in CMSB yourself when PayPal sends you emails.) If your website takes off and you find yourself swamped with updates, you can always get us to build something to automate your payment system later.
I hope this helps! Please let me know if have any questions.
