wysiwg default value

Im trying to set a table as the default value for a wysiwg.. but when I do it and then check it... it doesnt appear.
Even if I just enter plain text as the default value, it does not show up.
any ideas why it does not display?

Hi,
When you setup a default value, it will only appear on new records.
Are you not seeing the default values when you try to create a new record?
